Acquisition of Mimixao citizenship may only be initiated by the individual applicant. Applications may be submitted by stateless persons or foreign nationals who satisfy the legal requirements established by the Citizenship Act. Applicants holding another nationality may be required to declare their existing citizenship and comply with the citizenship regulations of the Republic of Mimixao.
Individuals granted Mimixao citizenship shall initially receive a Temporary Certificate of Citizenship, valid for a period of three years. Upon completion of all legal requirements and verification procedures, they shall be eligible to receive a Permanent Mimixao National Identity Card and a Republic of Mimixao Passport.
Minors between the ages of 14 and 18 may acquire Mimixao citizenship only with their own written consent and the consent of their legal parent or guardian, unless otherwise provided by law.
The Government of the Republic of Mimixao is pleased to announce that applications for the Mimixao e-Residency Programme are now officially open. The programme allows eligible individuals from around the world to apply for a secure digital identity issued by the Republic of Mimixao, providing access to a range of online government services and digital business opportunities. Applications can now be submitted through the official Government Portal.
